Brewhouse Mural by Martin Bush

THE COMMISSION

The Brewhouse was a well established pub in the centre of Oxford and this mural was commissioned by the then owner "Allied Lions".

OXFORD UK 1995

THE DESIGN

The design of the mural was influenced by the pubs atmosphere and to promote the architecture of Oxford it's self.

THE ARTISTS

The design and painting of the mural was done by myself and another artist James Cockrane

We worked together to produce this colourful and full looking mural that certainly is a great talking point for anyone who walks past.

TIME TAKEN

The mural took 5 weeks to complete and was painted onto marine plywood. The total area of the murals is 50 sq. meters.

This mural was taken down in 2001 due to a pub referb and was then mysteriously stolen by a gang with a van. Location unknown.

I plea to anyone who knows it's whereabouts!
